Well, I guess we now have our first real live debate! We'll see how heated this one gets, as, I don't really see how anybody can have much to say for the romance side...but oh well. Maybe some people DO actually like romance novels. I for one, DO NOT. I find them despicable and disgusting and degrading and demoralizing and detrimental and ditzy and dull and dinky and more things too, but they don't start with d's, so I won't mention them at the moment. Hah. Well, if you can't tell by now. My stand on this debate is most definitely on the WESTERN side, it would never ever be on the romance side! I would not recommend those books. I must be honest here. I just can't stand them. I do not read them. And they are all the same anyway...so boring!!! You know, I rather like it when some author changes the twist of the storyline and makes it so that the bad guy gets the girl, instead of the good guy! Now that is a little bit better. It suits my tastes more so, because it's not what you want! Hah! I don't like all the ushy gushy nasty icky romantic details either. It makes me feel like I need a bucket! No kidding. It also makes me feel like I am reading a bad book! I am not even kidding! When I get to a romantic part in the book, I feel like a heathen or something! Even if it's a Christian romance!
All right, so now that I have said my piece about why I DO NOT like romance novels, I will tell you why I am most definitely with all arms and legs on the Western side!
I really like Western books for several reasons. Some of them being: they are exciting, exhilarating, entertaining, enlightening, elaborate, endless fun; they have adventure, ammunition, arrows, arguments (haha, well trying to think of "a" words here...), and then we'll go to the "s" words: suspense, snakes, scary parts, simple parts, silly parts on occasion, Sacketts are in some of them!, and there's shootin' in them!, and well, my brain is done thinkin' now! Anyway, those are some of the main reasons why I like western books. I like books that keep me on the edge of my seat, and ones that have lots of excitement and adventure in them! =) Sometimes it makes you feel like you are there with the characters, and I like that. I also like learning more about western things! Fun! I know a lot of it already, but to enhance my knowledge is definitely nice.
I would recommend you reading Louis L'Almour books! They are very good and interesting! I like them a lot! And he has quickly become one of my very favorite authors! =) Oh, and one of the things I really like about Louis L'Almour books is that there is no romance in them! At least VERY little! That is such a relief! I will admit though, I used to think that Louis L'Almour books were full of romance and that ucky kind of stuff, but I had never read them before! But now that I have read some of them, I have found them to be the exact opposite! Which is very nice. So, if you are looking for a good, exciting, western thriller of a book, with no romance, here you've got you some! =)
All right, and that is about all I will say for now. I'll probably have more for the debate later though. Be countin' on it!

The Debate on What to Debate About...
Well, this is a real nice way to start out this debatin' blog! We can't even think of what to debate about! Maybe we should debate on whether we should even have this debating blog or not! Do you think so? But, no, I want to! Because it was a grand idea, and I did indeed like it. It's just that my brain didn't like it so much, I 'spose. But it'll get to likin' it.
First off, I guess I will debate a little bit about why I think it is okay not to use proper English all the time! Hah. English teachers or English fanatics, beware! Ya know, I must admit, I actually do like the school subject of English, it was always one of my favorites for whatever reason. Though I don't know why it was, because I never did exceptionally well on English tests. Except for when I took the ACT, then I got a rather high score on English. Anyway, I don't exactly have a great likin' for talkin' correct English all the time, because it seems so sophisticated and whatnot. And I don't like talkin' like no edumacated person! I'd rather talk like an outlaw!!! Or a Westerner. Both work fine for me. So, my reasons for wantin' to talk improper English (what I mean by this is by using words such as "ain't", "nah", "yep", "them" instead of "those", "don't" instead of "doesn't", etc), is mainly because it is more fun dat way! It also sounds neater, in my opinion! Oh, and another reason is because I like makin' up words of my own! And iffen I were to use proper correct grammar, then I would not be able to make up as many words as I wanted to! Do you get my reasoning? I sincerely hope that you do, because otherwise I will be greatly offended. Just kidding. I will not! You can offend me all ya want. Maybe I ain't should say that. Haha!!! See, I just completely butchered all grammar there! It don't even make sense.
Another reason is because I ain't no edumacated person! Sure, I went all the way through High School and all, and I went to one year of Bible college, but the only classes I took there were Bible classes, no English! However, I did have to take an English test at the end of the year, to see whether I would need to take English the next year if I went back. And I tested out of it! I actually did well enough on the test, so that I don't have to take it if I go back to Frontier! Ain't that surprisin'? Hmmm, some things make me wonder. I have also been called a "Grammar Queen" before. Well, this is really messin' up my debate!
All right, I think I will stop debatin', and have other people add their debatin' logic! All righty? So, let's get this debate under way!

I will just throw out a couple ideas that I thought about, and would y'all please tell me what ya think? Thank you! Okay, here they are: K-State versus Nebraska or some other rival team!, Kansas versus California or some other state, Fords versus Chevy's or some other vehicle (hah), Country versus City, Westerns versus Romance, etc. Let me know, please! Much obliged. =)

Well, Welcome Y'all!
Howdy!
This bein' my first post on this here new blog, I don't rightly know what to say. But I will just do a little bit of an introduction I suppose. And, just for your fair warnin', this blog is still in the workings, it is not exactly completely done yet. Just almost. Hah.
Anyway, some people know me as Private Eye Patty Pammy Piccolo, and that is what I will technically go by. However, there are others who know me as the Terrifying Thievin' Outlaw! And that is what my posts will be signed as. =) Don't be scared away though, it's just a nickname! Nothin' more, really! Well, maybe it is. Ya never know with us outlaws after all.
This blog is going to be a debating blog! Where anybody who reads it can debate about things with the other readers (and me too of course!). So, just have fun with it, but remember to honor the Lord in what you say and do! =)
